anime expo in california 2009?
i know there will be one there, but i would like to know how much it costs for a adult admission, what you do there, is it safe for teens to go alone with friends, and if you can get admissions for the conventions without all the waiting in line at the event or placing a online order with a credit card.
There seems to be several the Anaheim and San Jose ones did not seem to have info on websites yet. The Anaheim one was posting updates on twitter.com.
I went to the one in San Jose a few moths ago for half a day and regretted not preregistering and not taking the night of so I could have staid longer.
I know next summer my son’s anime club will have several people working there in San Jose.
You may want to ask the same question on the website forums for which ever city you will attend to see if you can use paypal or ticketmaster or whatever

Social Conventions $39.5 This book will be of great philosophical interest, especially to social and legal philosophers. Marmor’’s view is original and represents an important alternative to the dominant (Lewisian) conception of social conventions. He sketches his theory on a large canvas and applies it to several different areas of social life. He writes with admirable clarity, directness, and simplicity. –Gerald Postema, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill This book develops and applies a general theory of social conventions, then employs it to answer questions about the role of convention in language, morality, and law. Marmor’’s conclusions are noteworthy not only for the light they shed on the conventions found in these areas, but also for the claim that some linguistic and moral phenomena deemed conventional by other writers do not, in fact, have this status. –Christopher McMahon, University of California, Santa Barbar |
